At heart I am a social entrepreneur. By trade a real estate professional. The two are not altogether separate. Nothing brings me joy like helping people reach their goals and achieve their dreams. I am fortunate to work in an industry that allows me to do this everyday. Real estate may not be the dream in and of itself but where and how we live does shape and communicate much of who we are. When you think about it, changes in real estate often accompany changes in life. I have the privilege of walking through life with people and sharing their stories. Sometimes they are beautiful stories of relationship, birth, empowerment and promotion. Sometimes they are difficult stories of hardship, divorce, deployment and even death. I am daily reminded of the honor it is to be invited into someones real estate “transaction” because for me it means so much more. Those are the stories that bring me life and keep me doing what I do.
Speaking of stories…
I am not native to Colorado but it is my home. I live here with my husband and two daughters in whom I take great delight. We live in a small, old house downtown because I fell in love with a stone wall. We host a community garden in our backyard and have a large, crazy dog. I love to read and travel and spend time with friends. You will likely see posts on all of the above.
I hold a B.S. in International Business and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. I love hearing stories of social entrepreneurs here and around the world. I’m thankful for a career that gives me the flexibility to both volunteer and visit them on occasion.
